Here are three workshops that I think may be beneficial to the audience you aim to serve:

Tasha’s Session on A Guide To Manage Stressful Times While
at Work Description:
Working in this new normal requires you to step further into adding wellness as an overarching tool, to be mentally prepared to support NSU staff and its community; as well as develop innovative strategies that foster collaboration, creativity, and commitment to working on something much bigger than ourselves. In this session, attendees will learn what stress is, understand what role it plays on our physical health, emotional health and our mental health and how it shows up affecting our workplace experiences. We will also identify how stress contributes to our skillset and what it contributes overall to one’s performance within the company. To tackle this challenge, we will identify what perspective and practical strategies the company, its leaders, and its employees should incorporate to use wellness to manage stressful times, on a daily basis. Our ability to take a more holistic approach to work through workplace challenges is necessary to achieve peak performance, pivot your mindset, become more engaged, and breathe more life into our work; which would create a more favorable impact amongst faculty, staff, students, stakeholders, and the NSU community at-large.
Tasha’s Session on Wellness and Stress Management as a Priority to
Garner Successful Outcomes Description:
With a barrage of life stressors increasingly clamoring for centerstage for a number of individuals in our country, it is imperative we prioritize wellness as a means to achieve peak performance, maintain healthier relationships, and establish a greater sense of work-life balance. In this session, attendees will identify the three major aspects of wellness and how they relate to achieving maximum success in life. Attendees will be able to pinpoint whether the presence or absence of various wellness practices are taking shape in their lives and how it can affect their behaviors, thoughts, and actions. Upon completing this session, attendees will leave with a personally curated wellness plan to lead a more fulfilled, healthier, and successful life.
Tasha’s Session on Incorporating Fitness Daily Into A Busy Schedule
to Increase Work Performance Session
Numerous studies continue to show individuals who exercise are more productive, are able to think clearer, have improved concentration, manage their time better, and feel more work satisfaction. But with the busy days we all face, with back to back meetings and looming deadlines, how would we even have time to incorporate activity into our daily schedule? In this session, attendees will learn the benefits of incorporating daily activity into their routine, and understand the benefits of getting short bursts of activity throughout the day. Participants will be asked to assess their work and home schedule, their current time-management practices, as well as the resources they have to get in movement. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will leave this session learning how to implement 5 to 10 minute movement breaks before, during, and after working hours to manage stress, enhance work productivity, and feel healthier and happier while on-the-job.
|
Session/Speaking Times: 15-60 minutes.
Depending upon speaking time chosen, attendees will perform two 5 minute bouts of movement, in between their respective workshops. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the workshop if needed. For more information, email us at [email protected] |
